Why are you not offering BitDefender anymore?
As part of our evolving product suite, we select the best-performing products from companies we're happy to put our name next to. Having recently acquired other IT providers, we're needing to reduce the number of vendors we need our staff trained in and offer support for, this will help us streamline support for out customer.
Is BitDefender not very good?
Not at all - we simply need to reduce the overall number of products we support. BitDefender is a fine product, but Sophos InterceptX is part of the industry-leading endpoint protection suite from Sophos, whose products we have installed across all sorts of customers, from home-users, to small businesses, to large corporate customers.
What benefits do I get in changing products?
We have Sophos InterceptX Essentials setup with our ticketing system. If your computer has issues with the software, of your computer gets a virus that needs manual cleanup, it'll automatically create a ticket for us to follow up with you on.
What is the cost for changing?
When your BitDefender renewal comes up, we'll change you over for no additional cost. The Sophos InterceptX Essentials subscription might be a few dollars more per year than your existing BitDefender subscription.
How do we do the change over?
